Job DescriptionAs an ocean freight coordinator, the chosen candidate will be responsible for monitoring and tracing International Ocean shipments import and export orders and ensuring that they reach the client on time. At the same time, prepare and keep up on files and reports while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesAs ocean freight coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Receiving orders via email and fax
providing sales support within the Ops department
Preparation of delivery instructions and documents
Communicating with the manufacturing plant to make sure the goods are in stock
Follow-up to make sure that client received goods
Customer Service
RequirementsRequirements
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of letter of credit
Must be organized
Bilingual
Minimum of 2 yrs freight forwarding experience
Knowledge of transportation and customs
Compensation and Benefits DetailsTo be DeterminedRefer a FriendIntroduce your friends to Drake and we will pay you up to $500 if we place your friend in a permanent position. You can also earn $50 if we place your friend in a temporary assignment. Please see your local branch for details.
